Mark Elderkin - Gay Ad Network (CEO)
Mark Elderkin is CEO and founder of Gay Ad Network, largest advertising marketplace for connecting advertisers with LGBT consumers worldwide. Elderkin has been at the forefront of digital media since founding Gay.com twenty years ago. He revolutionized gay media by creating the first LGBT digital advertising platform and media network. Elderkin served as CEO of Gay.com and then as President of PlanetOut when the company became the first LGBT-oriented business to go public on NASDAQ in 2004.

Elderkin's latest venture, Gay Ad Network, is redefining gay media by providing targeted access to the LGBT audience segments across desktop and mobile devices worldwide.

Before building gay media businesses, Elderkin held product management positions at several Silicon Valley companies including National Semiconductor, Network Equipment Technologies, CellNet Data Systems and RadioMail Corporation.

Elderkin holds a BS degree in Systems Engineering from Boston University and MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School. Elderkin lives in Ft. Lauderdale with his husband and daughter.
